Welcome to the Wells Place (Eastleigh) Open DofE Centre located in the Wells Place Centre, Eastleigh, Hampshire.

We are the only Open Award Centre in Eastleigh and the unit is run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers many of which are previous participants.

The DofE is open to all young people between the ages of 13^1/2and 25 in the area.

At the centre we are extremely proud of our history; we have a 100% success rate over the almost 15 years the group has been running. We maintain high standards of training both for participants and leaders. In addition we like to keep the running of the group as informal as possible and pass on the responsibility of the DofE to the participant with as much or as little help as needed.

If you already belong to another local group maybe at your school or college DID YOU KNOW you can change groups without having to buy a new record book? Why not come along one evening just to see what you think with no obligation. Even if you are outside the Hampshire Operating Authority!

Has your school or college been over subscribed preventing you from doing your DofE with them? Contact us and we will work with you and your friends to complete the award.

Participants have come from Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, Bishopstoke, Fair Oak, Winchester, Sarisbury Green, Colden Common, Hedge End, Romsey, Bishops Waltham, Upham and Southampton.
